Kenyans from all corners of the country know the dangers of running an election with an incompetent and obsolete so-called “Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission” (IEBC) led by a corrupt nincompoop by the name of Ahmed Isak Hassan.
The country risks going on a full-blown post-election violence due to the delays we saw in the Malindi by-election, where suspicions of foul-play and manipulation of results can trigger spontaneous reactions.
Not just the IEBC, but the entire Supreme Court should be disbanded and new judges sworn in, because the country has lost faith in the activist Willy Mutunga, who seems to have lost his 90’s mojo. “Yesterday’s reformists are today’s establishment,” and Mutunga is firmly entrenched in the status-quo.
Today, demonstrations calling for the disbandment of IEBC only serve as a warning that the country risks instability if the “Chicken-Gate” crooks remain in office.
