A company that touts itself to be the manufacturer of technologies for clean cooking is accused of misusing youths.
Though the ideas and designs shared are not registered by intellectual property registering agencies such as Kenya Industrial Property Institute; cnyakundi.com believes this is wrong and tantamount to intellectual property theft that is so rampant in Kenya.
Firm’s get away so easily with this crime because youths don’t understand the rules of intellectual property, most of the youths are poor and desperate.
Burn Manufacturing should stop this nonsense for they are now exposed.
According to the documents and correspondence that we have seen, the firm is guilty.

Hi Cyprian,
I have an issue I would like to raise.
There’s a company here in Nairobi taking advantage of desperate Jobless youths.
So here’s what happens, these guys advertise job positions every now and then. Same positions, the catch is during the application process, you have to do a test and it includes solving a design challenge in their production process.
Personally, I have done the test several times, and I always submit a design to them. I also have colleagues who have gone through the same.
So these guys always end up with thousands of solutions to their design and production challenges for free and they don’t end up hiring anyone.
What I know is people work very hard to submit those designs hoping to be hired.
The company is called Burn Manufacturing
