Christian Holy book of Proverbs 28:1 says, ‘The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion”.
The Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (Ketraco) boss Fernandes Barasa is not a clean man, but a very sly one for that matter.
As a former boss of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), he knows how to hide the loot. It would be stupid to expect an accountant of such high repute not to.
The DP Ruto man, might be the new conduit for hiding, through his foundation, the loot for the DP and him. It is important to note that the two, tied at the hip by corruption, are gunning for top political seats in their various capacities in 2022.
Since getting appointed to Ketraco in April 2016, Mr Barasa has grown in terms of wealth.
In Kenya, people get wealthy not by innovation or hardwork, but by ‘mismanaging public funds’ under their care.
As noted in another article, Fernandes Barasa has grown fat by the multi-billion contracts for electricity transmission.
Fernandes barasa ni number Ceo sahizi Kenya mzima. Ako na barasa foundation inachapa miradi nyumbani. Amenunulia vijana over 500 pikipikis ili wapate mapato yao kila siku. Ametengenezea waathiriwa wa floods nyumba juzi e.t.c Tafuta barasa foundation kwa fb uone maneno yake

The tweet attached above is one of the series of patterns that link Fernandes Barasa to DP William Ruto. There no other person doing these Youth-goods-giving ceremonies other than these two.
Though it looks like a good thing, tokenism is not a great thing in the long-run. Better policies that are human and focuses and sincere is what will help the youths.
The below and Fernandes Barasa’s pikipiki’s ain’t it.

Ketraco is corrupt; its boss inept but growing fat.
The PR machinery now working to clean Fernandes Barasa is on steroids. The man from Kakamega wants to join politics so as to ‘escape’ the law as done by many other crooks before him.

Barasa’s mismanagement takes subtle forms, such as the sale of equipment that can easily be repaired to save costs.
Still good vehicles that could be used by other state cooperations if KETRACO doesn't need them. But we all know they were bought so they could be "dispose" while new and someone can buy them at 10% of the value. CORRUPTION!!! https://t.co/eqSHB55Wcf

Destruction
Information reaching cnyakundi.com indicates that Ketraco is massively cutting trees inside Timboroa forest.
“A kind of corruption, impunity and destruction of our forests. Here is Timboroa Forest Station where KETRACO clears trees by massively cutting them down in the name of WAYLEAVE clearing. Riverine areas in the forest are much affected. Those involved were arrested but unfortunately, they were released by the order of the EC – Uasin Gishu County and the forest manager – Timboroa Forest Station”, the source stated.

George Kinoti and Fernandes Barasa’s drama
‘The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion”.
Sometime in August 2019, a well-built middle-aged man in a high-end restaurant runs for dear life panting like a chased antelope, he finds his way into the toilets of the restaurant and hides.
The man was none other than the CEO of Ketraco Mr. Fernandes Barasa. He was running to safety to hide from the Director of Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti. The only problem is that the DCI boss wasn’t coming for him. He was at the hotel for another business and as coincidence would have it, Mr Barasa was also in the hotel and happened to spot him. Barasa later left the hotel altogether through the kitchen door.
Inside the multi-billion scandals of Ketraco boss Fernandes Barasa
Fernandes Barasa is overly guilty. No other parastatal boss is engaging in such display of wealth through a foundation.
If Barasa is not stealing from the public, let him reveal donors to his foundation.
These are not mere coincidences, surely, something is cooking for 2022.
DCI should look into it.
