The complaint received by cnyakundi.com touches on just that.
“Has someone got connections to the media to get good pictures into the press with articles about what Chinese (and perhaps other) multinationals are doing to Kenya and Nairobi and showing blatent contempt towards citizens and other property owners and residents?”, a source wrote accompanying the complaints with pictures of a partially forested area being decimated by Chinese capitalist greed.

“There’s a petition against the PowerChina Construction. They work from 7am to 7pm (if not later) every day of the week, including Sundays and Bank Holidays. Residents outcry is huge and it has really become unbearable!,” the source says.
Who is PowerChina?
Power Construction Corporation of China, aka PowerChina is a wholly State-owned company and is part of the heavy and civil engineering construction industry.
PowerChina is acting with immunity because it enjoys the patronage of a few state officers.
