Am one of the selected National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS) Registration Officer from Mwingi East Sub County.
As NIIMS agent we are facing many challenges which we have tried to air out to our Assistant County Commissioner and District County Commissioner (DCC) but they are very reluctant about concern.
We reported for training from 19th March, 2019 up to 26th March, 2019 and yet now we have never received our allowance which should be Kshs 1800 per day (the government said it has reduced to Kshs. 1000).
From desk of County Commissioner Kitui , our allowance was send second day after starting training but District County Commissioner (DCC) of Mwingi East has been holding that allowance for reason not known to us.
In other counties like Makueni, registration officers was paid ksh 2500 per day.
From government sources in Ministry of Interior and National Coordinarion., that mass registration of Huduma Number that will start on 2rd April up to 17th May all those NIIMS Agent /Registration Assistant ksh 1500 per day.
But a letter was send and is articulating registration agents will be paid Ksh 1000. (This was posted on a personal 36 blogger account, not the ministry’s)
We are asking transparent from ministry to make everything transparent.
Some official are slashing our payment.
Please help us for more investigation on payment for NIIMS registration assistant.
