Equity Bank Managing Director Polycarp Igathe has been reappointed Vice President Sales & Marketing at Vivo Energy; the appointment takes effect on September 1.
Vivo Energy Kenya is the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuel and lubricants. It was established in 2012.
However, the return of Mr. Igathe, brings bad memories to staff and motorist alike.

Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (formerly Energy Regulatory Commission – ERC) found Shell Petrol station guilty of selling adulterated fuel; many motorists suffered losses as their cars stalled.
