Over the years, this blog has consistently dedicated time to unearthing unlawful extortion rackets within various top learning institutions across the country.
Time and time again, struggling parents complain of being milked dry by greedy school heads who mercilessly demand exorbitant payments.

Just a few days ago, we highlighted how parents at Muhoho Boys High came out to protest an increasingly expensive curriculum at the formerly best performing secondary school in Gatundu South, Kiambu County.
Hardly a week later and another submission has been forwarded to our news desk.
This time around, a popular educational facility in Kitui County is under fire.
Infuriated parents from St Peter’s Nzambani Secondary School in Kitui are up in arms against the school’s administration following their recent demand of Sh3,000 as payment for motivating teachers.
This is on top of an extra Sh2,000 which they recently forked out for the purpose of fencing the school.
Interestingly, all guardians were requested to pay the money directly to the school in form of cash.
This has led to most questioning the value for their money considering the public school has been performing quite poorly.
“Hi, Nyakundi,
After the CITAM issue, there is another.
St Peter’s Nzambani Secondary School in Kitui has been demanding Sh3,000 per term from parents’ motivation fee for teachers.
This money is paid in cash to the school.
They have also demanded Sh,2000 cash per student for school fencing.
This is a public school that equally performs poorly.
Someone needs to speak to the voiceless parents,” the source writes.
